The Muskego Rugby Club (MRC) is one of the top clubs in the state year in and year out. MRC was established in 1997 as part of an effort by the Wisconsin Rugby Football Union (WRFU) to get youth playing rugby. The youth movement has helped grow the sport throughout the state and country, and has made rugby the fastest growing sport in America over the past 10 years. With a version of rugby played in the Summer Olympics in 2016 in Rio De Janerio, the popularity and support for rugby in America has continued to grow. Many Muskego Alums have continued on their rugby careers to the Collegiate and Men’s levels, and have helped put Wisconsin and the Midwest on the map as a national power house. It all starts here!
